From Cameron to companion app.
We picked this idea because I (Cameron) am the "car friend" for everyone I know. They come to me for everything, from car trouble to checking out Craigslist listings in person. I've been an enthusiast my whole life and, from looking at listings for fun, know the non-obvious details that listing sites miss, for example, that even a "reliable" brand like Honda had models with weak transmissions (like the 2004 Odyssey).
People constantly come to me for this niche info, which proves the need. My co-founder, Nate, and I are building this app to scale me: to give everyone their own trusted "car friend" to help them through the car-buying process.
